On February 20^th, some of our athletes participated in the Pervolia Run, a race which takes place in Larnaca in this pretty little village, with a number of events for all ages.

There was a 500m race for Under 12s as well as 2km for 12-15 year olds as well as a 5km, 10km and half marathon race. Trophies were awarded for the first 3 winners in all age categories.

Some of our Lizards who won on the day included:

Nayia Papageorgiou 2km 13-15yrs  – 1^st 

Alex Rhodes 2km 13-15yrs – 1st

Marinos Makris 500m 10-12 yrs – 2^nd

Elenios Makris 500m 7-9 yrs – 2^nd

Konstantinos Agathangelou  500m 7-9 yrs -1^st

Antonis Diamantakis 5000m 16-19 yrs -1^st

Yiota Andreou 1st 5000m overall

Eirini Christou 3rd overall 5000m

Dimitris Christou 1st half marathon overall

Melanie Boast 1st 500m 1-6 yrs
