On the weekend of 5-7th April 2019, the Lizards went on their annual trip to Platres, where the team and their families are invited to spend the weekend out in nature, to enjoy a well-earned break before the start of the regionals/nationals timetable.
Several families went up on Friday night where everyone enjoyed food by the campfire and stayed up late playing games! On Saturday, there was some training up in the hills, a nature walk to find some wild mushrooms followed by games including basketball, hide & seek and then a barbecue in the evening.
On Sunday morning, everyone piled onto a bus to go to the race in Paphos, despite not getting much sleep. Well done to all for the great team spirit and we look forward to the next excursion next year!
