On what was a hot day on Saturday 4th May 2019, 24 of our Lizards athletes who had qualified at Regionals, traveled to Nicosia to GSP Stadium for the U12 National Finals. After the National Anthem and the athletes’ oath was completed, the day’s events kicked off with the endurance races.
The Lizards again gave a great performance with many of our athletes finishing off the season with podium positions and medals. Some of the great results included:

Achilleas Agrotis 4th 600m Boys (2009) – although he is one year younger!

Marianna Andreou 4th 75m Girls (2008)
Georgie Brampton 4th 600m Girls (2007)
We also had another 6 of our athletes in the finals for the sprints & hurdles who came in the top 6 and also got new personal bests, the level of competition this year was much higher than other years and everyone tried extremely hard and showed fantastic attitude and dedication.
We are very proud of all our team members who competed and of course our fantastic coaches for all their dedication and hard work!
