During this month it was the Regional Finals for the Senior schools including the Gymnasium & Lyceum age groups, and several of our Lizards athletes were participating representing their schools both in individual and team events at Lanitio stadium.
Many of them did very well in their competitions, progressing to the national finals which are taking place in April 2022.

Alicia Finnis – 1st 3000m
Veronica Photiou – 1st 400m
Irene Christou – automatically qualified for the nationals 2000m steeple chase
Ilia Panteli 1st 100m Hurdles
All our Lyceum athletes qualified for the national finals on 29th March 2022. We are super proud of them!

All those who finished in top 3 of their events, progress to the national finals, taking place in April. Several of our athletes also participated in the 4x100m relays, with Nayia & Pam progressing through to the national finals with their school team.
