On 7th-8th August 2019, the annual U18s Cyprus Vs Greece meeting was held which took place at Volos in Greece. In this competition the top athletes from both countries compete against each other.
Our athlete Anna Makkoutide participated and despite her young age, stormed to victory in the 800m for the U18s with a new personal best of 2:16. Her team also came first in the 400x400m relay so a massive congratulations to Anna for all her hard work and this great achievement!

Bravo Anna – we cannot wait to see what you do next! Anna’s next goal is to make it into the top 3 for the chance to represent Cyprus in the World Gymnasiad in October 2020.
