For the 8th year running, we are proud to announce the return of “Ipsonas Is Running For You”, taking place on Sunday, 19th October 2025. Come and enjoy a wonderful day of running and family fun alongside the stunning Kouris Dam.
Organised together with the Ipsonas Municipality, this community race has a special purpose. All proceeds are donated to support underprivileged children in primary schools of Ipsonas as well as orphaned children. The event is held in memory of the family of the Mayor of Kourion Muncipality Pantelis Georgiou.

Race Day Details: Please register online in advance and collect your race numbers on the morning of the event between 8:00 – 8:30 am.
Children’s 300m Races (Free Entry) – Nursery school, Under 6 Years Only
Children’s 600m Races (Free Entry) – Primary school
• 9:30 am – Year 1-2 / A-B Dimotiko (6-7 years old)
• 9:40 am – Year 3-4 / Γ-Δ Dimotiko (8-9 years old)
• 9:50 am – Year 5-6 / Ε-ΣΤ Dimotiko (10-11 years old)
1500m Race
• 10:10 am – Born 2013–2011 (12–14 years old, Gymnasium – Free Entry)
• 10:25 am – Born 2010–2008 (15–17 years old, High School – Free Entry)
• 10:40 am – Adults (18 years+) – In Memory of Thekla – (€5 Entry)
Any disabled athletes are warmly invited to take part, with carers welcome to accompany them. Parents are also free to join the 1500m adult race with small children in prams.

• 8:30 am – Open Category (€20 Entry) – Start location: Ancient Stadium of Kourion (bus from the Dam to take runners to start at 7:30am)
Kourion Historic 34km Race (Adults) – New historical route for those preparing for marathons (Online Registrations ONLY)

Skate Fun Race: This year for the first time we will also have an exciting new addition – a 10 minute charity skate run! Bring your roller skates, roller blades or scooter and join the fun to raise money for a great cause.(€5 Entry)
