On Sunday 1st December 2019, it was the 12th Annual Bank of Cyprus ‘Run With Us’ event which took place in Athalassa Park, in order to raise money to fight cancer. All proceeds from the corporate charity race were donated to support the Bank of Cyprus Oncology Center.
Our very own Andriana Koumbari went along and came 4th overall in the Women’s category – well done to Andriana who has been getting stronger and stronger since starting her training with the Lizards!
Well done to the organisers and all the participants for racing for a worthwhile cause.
On the same day in Limassol, it was the 1st Limassol Santa’s Race, where all participants ran dressed up in Santa outfits and ran 5km starting and finishing at the Molos on the seafront. Our athlete Roman Karakulov joined in and came 2nd in the men’s category. Well done to all for a fun day out.
