After the disappointing cancellation of last year’s event, we are delighted to announce that the annual ‘Ipsonas Is Running For You’ event is back!
After the great success of the last one in 2019, this event, jointly organised with the Municipality of Ipsonas, is taking place once again at the beautiful location of Kouris Dam (Ypsonas side near the overflow) on Sunday 10th October 2021. Registration starts from 7.30am with the 5k and 10k races starting at 8.15am.
All proceeds from the event will once again be given to orphaned children in memory of the mayor’s family, so please sign up now to support this great cause.
As in previous years, there will be several races taking place on the day including:
600m Races for children up to 11 years old (Free entry):
9.10am (2014 and later)
9.20am (2012-2013)
9.30am (2010-2011)
1500m Race:
9.30am (2004-2009) gymnasium – high school – Free Entry
9.30am Adults – €5 Entry
There will also be a wheelchair race for disabled athletes and children accompanied by their carers.
5km Race Adults:
8.15 am Open Category – €5 Entry
10km Race Adults:
8.15 am Open Category – €10 Entry
All participants will get a free race T-shirt and participation medal.
All participants over the age of 12 years old must present a safe pass on entry to the event.

Registration is simple and very fast! Please be there to collect your number between 7.30-8am and awards are expected to take place around 10:30-11:00.
