After a difficult period where the pandemic effectively closed down team training, it was all systems go when we were informed that Nationals were going ahead! With smaller groups, our Lizards restarted their programs and raced to get in shape for the competitions. Although it was very different this year, with restrictions on stadium access, no regional qualification and no medal ceremonies, it was great to be back on the track for many of our athletes!
Overall, Lizards ended the year with some great achievements both in the U12, U16, U18 and U20 National Finals. Congratulations to everyone who participated despite the challenging conditions and intense humidity & heat on many of the actual event days, and congratulations to KOEAS for putting together these events and even arranging live stream coverage for the many people who were not able to watch live!

This marks the end of a challenging season for the Lizards team and all athletes across the world as the pandemic disrupted athletics on so many levels, so huge congratulations to all the team and the coaches for their continued dedication & hard work and we hope to see you back on the track soon for the new season!
